MetLife Stadium: The Venue
MetLife Stadium is located in East Rutherford, New Jersey, about 10 miles from Manhattan. It's the largest NFL stadium and will host the 2026 World Cup final.
Capacity: 82,500 spectators. It's the only NFL stadium shared by two teams (Giants and Jets).
How to Get to the Stadium
From Manhattan there are several options:
- NJ Transit Train: From Penn Station, special service on match days. Takes 30 minutes, costs $15.
- Bus: Lines from Port Authority Bus Terminal. Approximately 45 minutes.
- Taxi/Uber: $60-80 from Manhattan, but traffic can be heavy.
Where to Stay
Manhattan: The most convenient option to combine the World Cup with tourism. Times Square, Midtown, and Chelsea have good connections.
Budget: Manhattan ($200-500/night), New Jersey ($120-250/night).
